Grid-Tie and Stand-Alone Wind Inverters

Aurora® MWI wind power inverters

Power-One’s small-wind-power products include MWI stand-alone inverters and Aurora® grid-tie inverters and wind interfaces. MWI (Multi-mode Wind Inverter) products can be used in stand-alone applications, and as hybrid-systems interfaces for auxiliary PV arrays, gensets, and storage batteries

Aurora wind inverters incorporate robust, high-efficiency designs that include features such as the capability to optimize the inverter’s power curve to match the specific output characteristics of the wind turbine being used. Aurora wind interfaces are available to condition the output of a micro-wind generator for use with a wind inverter; eliminating the need for any additional rectification.
