Aurora Network

The Aurora Network provides accessories and network building blocks required to design a monitoring system for geographically distributed PV plants spread over large distances.

Aurora Network options including Ethernet switches, cell router, and RS-485 repeaters extend the size or geographical range of the monitoring network beyond the capability of Aurora Universal – Commercial or Aurora Universal – Industrial. These options also allow more flexibility in the designing the monitoring network to the wide variety of commercial PV plant designs.

Aurora Network models include:

  • 24 VDC, 4A power supply
  • NEMA 4 / 4x enclosure

Available options include:

  • 3 port RS – 485 Modbus “star” repeater
  • GSM class 12 GPRS cell router
  • 8 port RJ-45 10/100 Base-T Ethernet switch
  • 4 port RJ-45 10/100 Base-T & 2 port 10/100 BaseFX fiber Ethernet switch
