Extremely scalable module inverter systems increase usable power in large commercial installations

String Inverters
String inverters are designed to serve residential and commercial photovoltaic installations.
  • The new Aurora 300 Watt micro-inverter product offers something new to Power-One customers. The ability to individually link all modules within a specific installation is an alternative to the traditional Aurora string inverters Power-One is famous for.
  • Power-One’s new Optimizer products use DC-to-DC technology to help maximize the energy harvested from solar installations.
  • Solar single-phase string inverters between 2kW and 6kW focusing on residential and small commercial applications.
  • Solar three-phase string inverters of 10kW and above focusing on commercial applications.
Central Inverters
The Aurora commercial-grade central inverters are designed for large solar applications such as large buildings and industrial facilities as well as field installations.
  • Aurora Lite Inverter offers high performance with affordable capital expenditure and has been specifically designed for the fast growing Asian market.
  • Large solar power inverters of 50kW and above for large commercial and utility-grade applications.
  • The largest solar power inverter in the Power-One Aurora product range, the new Ultra 1.4MW unit is designed with large utility-grade installations in mind.
Station Turnkey Solution
Power-One’s turnkey solution allows large installation customers to select their power inverter solution to be custom-fitted into a prefabricated weather-sealed cabin to allow for simple and speedy installation in the field.
  • External prefabricated cabins featuring Aurora inverter equipment inside tailored to customer specifications.

Aurora Wind
Aurora Wind inverters from Power-One utilize an optimized power curve algorithm to increase the amount of energy that can be harvested from wind turbines.
  • Aurora grid-tie transformerless wind inverters offer a unique combination of ultra-high efficiencies, installer-friendly designs and long service life.
  • Aurora grid-tie transformerless wind inverters offer a unique combination of ultra-high efficiencies, installer-friendly designs and long service life.
  • This isolated inverter is optimized for use in small wind applications.
  • This Aurora grid-tie wind inverter offers a unique combination of ultra-high efficiencies, installer-friendly designs and long service life.
  • Power-One’s Aurora Wind Interface Box is a key accessory within the small wind applications.
  • This new product to Power-One’s Aurora wind accessories offers more flexibility for small wind applications.
  • Following the growing demand for wind power and the market trend to introduce higher power turbines using “In-Line Technology”, the Power Converter Unit will be a real “core” component of the turbine permanent magnet generator system in the upcoming years.
  • High-Efficiency, 50 kW Inverters

Aurora Vision
Aurora Vision solutions include a full range of web-based system fault management, diagnostics, asset tracking, performance index and alerting services to enable O&M service providers to maximize system energy output while minimizing costs.
  • Aurora Vision is the next generation of PV plant monitoring and management. This is a cloud-cloud based solution, available through a web browser user interface to your PV plant data, which provides highly interactive, real-time access to key performance and operations metrics to help plant management optimize decisions and accelerate the alignment with business goals. Aurora Vision has many dashboard views that allow fleet wide management of performance and assets through reports, diagnostics, analytics, or event alert and management.
  • The Aurora Universal Residential is a high-performance, customer data management system for home PV system operations. It collects data from the PV array and uploads information over the internet. With browser accessible Aurora Vision Plant Share, this residential solution allows home owners, friends, and family to track energy production and environmental benefits. In addition performance degradation can be tracked to enable timely cleaning and maintenance. The compact indoor enclosure saves space and allows installation in unobtrusive and out of the way places.
  • The Aurora Universal Commercial is a high-performance, customer premise data acquisition, revenue grade metering, and communication system for a wide range of commercial PV plant applications. Ease of installation, along with options for collection and communication of operational data, offer customers a flexible platform to fit the monitoring needs of a wide variety of commercial PV plant designs.
  • The Aurora Universal Industrial is a high-performance, customer premise data acquisition, and communication system for a wide range of utility and industrial PV plant applications. The Industrial configuration offers several customizable integration options using cost-effective modular blocks for implementing a PV plant monitoring system to support large and geographically distributed industrial or utility scale PV plant designs.
  • The Aurora Environmental system automatically monitors site meteorological conditions and photovoltaic panel temperature in real-time, transmitting sensor measurements to the Vision data center. Site irradiance and temperature data are needed to calculate expected performance and the ratio of actual performance to expected performance.
  • The Aurora Network provides accessories and network building blocks required to design a monitoring system for geographically distributed PV plants spread over large distances.
  • The Aurora Smart Combiner for Grounded Arrays enables DC current monitoring at the string level to help localize problems and minimize down time. These combiners have input fusing only one set of conductors, either positive or negative.
  • The new Easy Control system offers customers the ability to monitor PV or wind installation performance from a remote location using either an Ethernet/Internet connection or mobile phone technology.
  • Power-One’s Desktop product allows inverter owners to monitor performance from anywhere within 300 meters of the units.
