From January 1, 2012, Power One has introduced its Universal Standard solution for the PVI-3.0/3.6/4.2 and PVI-5000/6000 single-phase string inverters. Moving from the model with national characterization to a model with the easy selectable national standard, as indicated in Table 1. The new models can be recognised by the suffix –TL in the model designation. Table 2 shows the equivalences between the national standard models and the universal standard models. Please refer to the manual for the simple installation procedure.
NOTE:
Germany: only –TL models are compliant with the VDE-AR-N 4105 standard (this is not the case for the PVI-5000 and PVI-6000models). Please refer to further Power One announcements as regards non-universal standard models that have yet to beinstalled when the standard comes into force.
