Distribution Manager Power Supplies and Systems
Description:

You will be working from our Sales Office in Denzlingen or your home office and closely together with your colleague Inside Sales Engineers for your region.

Responsibilities:
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals while remaining within expense budget guidelines
• Manage strategic accounts to ensure that sales goals are met
• Manage manufacturer's representatives at strategic accounts to ensure that sales goals are met
• Visit accounts, resolve customer problems, and make customer presentations as necessary
• Provide training to field sales representatives as appropriate
• Provides periodic reports to factory, including forecast information and percent to plan
• Maximize profit margin while maintaining customer base
• Participate in the evaluation of inside sales personnel

Minimum Technical Requirements
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of strategic selling techniques and a system vs. price approach
• Working knowledge of CRM tools, Salesforce.com a plus
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Power-Point, Excel, and Word programs

Additional Requirements:
• Background in power supply manufacturing a plus
• Experience in power supply design helpful
• Ideal career background would include experience in Power Conversion industry
• Sales management/supervisory course work desirable
• Background in effective time, account, and territory management
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Effective customer presentation skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Geographically located in appropriate sales territory
• Able to travel circa 50%.
• International Travel required

Skills and Requirements:

Degree Required: preferred in Electronics Engineering
Experience Required: 8+ years in a technical sales environment, including 2+ years as a regional or major accounts sales manager.
Experience in electronics manufacturing organization required

Other:
- Like working in a small, dedicated team and being part of an international operating company
- Strong oral and written communication skills in German and English required
- Experience with standard PC applications
