The Graphical User Interface Facilitates System Development, Simulation, and Characterization

>> Return to Bus-Programmable Digital POL overview page

The Z-One Graphical User Interface (GUI) supports dramatically simplified configuration and simulation for up to 32 power-system devices, including up to 4 analog components. User-defined settings can be programmed to individually-managed components or assigned to multiple devices as groups.

This screen displays the output-voltage settings for three Z-POLs (blue boxes) and the address location for one analog device (magenta box). Two Z-POLs share the operating characteristics asigned to Group A. The remaining Z-One POL and analog device are managed as individual members of their respective groups.

User-defined characteristics that can be group programmed include fault management, POL output voltages and currents, sequencing between components, and feedback-loop responses.

Fault and error propogation capabilities include conditional scenerios with multiple fault types affecting different component groups. An IBA bus converter (DC-DC front end) can also be controlled as the result of a fault scenerio.
